Kidnap and ransom insurance is currently available to UK, EU, US, Australian and Canadian citizens who are in any country worldwide, or to any company or organisation in those countries who are sending staff overseas.
The cover includes access to a specialist 24/7 global emergency and crisis response team and covers up to £3,000,000 per person and up to £6,000,000 in the annual aggregate per policy.
It includes cover for ransom money paid or lost in transit, crisis management and consultant costs, care costs, personal security costs, salary replacement and return home expenses, among others.
Modular high risk insurance
