Coronavirus and customers in temporary financial difficulty
The Covid-19 pandemic is a stressful period for all of us. While health is the prime concern, some customers will also be seeing an impact on their finances in the short to medium term.
We want to support our customers through this difficult time. There are lots of things we can do to help if you’re struggling to make your premium payments:
- We can review your cover to check whether your current policy remains the most appropriate for you, or whether a different level of cover may be appropriate at the current time
- We can negotiate with your insurer as they may be able to offer temporary assistance with premium costs, such as a payment holiday, a suspension in cover or a deferment of premium payments
- We can review whether a different insurer may be able to offer comparable cover at a lower cost
